How You Can Invest in Our Future Leaders...

As an amateur organisation, the Tawa Rugby Club has been an integral part of the local community for more than 60 years. Based at Lyndhurst Park, every rugby season it provides people from the Tawa community (and beyond) with the opportunity to participate in a team-based physical activity.

We as a rugby club give opportunities to young people to develop team work, purpose, physical fitness and self discipline. For the families, it gives reassurance that their children have direction and training at almost no cost.

One of the benefits of young people who have a purpose and a direction is they become active community minded citizens who take part in the development of the local community. These are our future leaders. When young people belong to a creative and constructive organisation such as the Tawa Rugby Club, they have no desire to get their thrills by engaging in vandalism other undesirable antisocial activities. This results in a more attractive, vibrant and thriving community attracting visitors and other businesses to the town.

We depend on sponsorship of businesses and individuals’ goodwill to fund our operations, maintenance and development. This year we are seeking sponsor at four levels. The benefits for each package are detailed on the second page.
